Community takeovers

Trade a community. Burn its supply.

A CTO market is a key market whose creator earns nothing. Every trade pays the standard 1% fee, and the 35% of it that would go to a creator is spent instead on buying the community's token and sending it to a dead address. The community gets a permanent buyer; the token gets a supply that only shrinks.

How a takeover works

1Someone buys a key

The bonding curve prices key n at n² — early keys are cheap, and each one raises the price of the next.

2The trade pays 1%

Split by the contract: 35% creator, 35% to the stock rewards pool for key holders, 10% referral, the rest protocol.

3The creator share burns

On a CTO market that 35% buys the community token and sends it to a dead address. Supply drops and never comes back.

Which community should be next?

Takeovers are opened by request. If your community has a token on Robinhood Chain and wants a permanent buyer for it, reply to us with the token and the handle — the market goes up with the fees pointed at your burn.

Community takeover markets are unverified and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the people, projects, or brands they name. Keys are not shares and carry no claim on any company. Prices move on a bonding curve and can go to zero.
